Canada Scholarship

Who is it for?

The Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ’s Canada Scholarship is designed to help students from Canada to access postgraduate level study at the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ. The Canada Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2026/27 academic year. 

Scholarship Amount

The Canada Scholarship is valued at £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount in the first year of their studies. 

September 2026 and January 2027 Entry 

Selection Criteria 

In order to be eligible to receive the Canada Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Canada.
• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2026 or January 2027.
• Have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University.

Students joining a Pre-Master’s programme will be entitled to receive the scholarship when they move onto their main programme.
